Just before reaching the canal bridge, nature lovers can follow a marked trail leading to the “Bec d’Allier,” where the Allier meets the Loire. This remarkable natural site, a favorite among birdlife, is protected by WWF. Educational panels line the hiking path, and a birdwatching observatory awaits at the end.
