Crom Castle is made up of two parts: the first dates back to the 17th century and was built by a wealthy Scottish landowner. Destroyed by fire in 1764, the original structure now stands in ruins. The second building is a 19th-century reconstruction. While this newer section remains the private property of the Earl of Erne, the ruins of the old Crom Castle are open to visitors,so don’t hesitate to make a stop.
