As you sail upstream on the Bodrog River, you'll pass vineyards, meadows, and marshes in the heart of the protected Tokaj-Bodrogzug area, a haven for migratory birds. From the deck of your license-free boat, scan the riverbanks in search of eagles, corncrakes, and storks... The village also hosts several wine cellars where you can taste the renowned Tokaj wines.

As you continue along the Bodrog, the Red Tower (Vörös torony), a medieval keep from the 15th century, comes into view. Visit the Rákóczi Palace, rebuilt from the 16th century,a true Renaissance jewel. Other must-sees include the Reformed College (Református Kollégium), the Gothic Vártemplom, and the Végardó Fürdő thermal baths, great for a family break.
